Rep. Peter Akpatason, Akoko Edo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has warned PDP against peddling lies with the name of Governor Adams Oshiomhole whom he described as one of the heroes the state had produced.
According to Akpatason, “we are not worried about governorship election because we know we are going to beat PDP as usual, but our worry is this persistent attempt to rubbish the name of the Comrade Governor who is our hero on the altar of elections.
That is one problem with politics, if not for politics, people like Ize-Iyamu and Dan Orbih are too small for Oshiomhole. “This is a man that has made his name in this country, a dogged labour leader and those of us who have been with him over the years know him as a hero that must not be rubbished.
Each time the PDP members come up with their lies and propaganda against the Comrade Governor, we see it as an attempt to just rubbish his name and not because of politics because all of them in PDP know that if it is this governorship election, they can never win it.
