President not responsible for economic recession — APC chieftain

The Cross River State 2015 Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Odey Ochicha has charged Nigerians not to blame President Muhammadu Buhari for the nation`s present economic predicaments.
Ochcha gave the charged in a statement issued in Calabar by his media officer, Mr. Inyali Peter, urging Nigerians to learn how to separate lies from fact stressing that, if not for the intervention of President Buhari, the economy of Nigeria could have been in total disarray.
Ochicha stressed that a time has come for Nigerians to face economic reality instead of believing
in rhetorics and illusions circulated by the looters of the nation`s economy that left the country to wallow in poverty.
Ochicha maintained that there is nowhere in the world that the economy of a particular nation can grow in a vacuum, stressing that instead of accusing the ruling APC for being responsible for the woes of the nation they should instead ask former leaders of the structures they set up for our economy to grow without oil.
The APC chieftain blamed the past administrations of being responsible for the economic misfortune of the nation describing previous administration of being insensitive and responsible for the plight of the nation.
The statement, stated, “Nigerians should begin to channel their questions to the right people and stop believing this rhetorics and illusions that President Buhari and APC are responsible for the nation’s economic woes.”
